This sign with a  T1 Splitscreen van front door panel is part of an Aircooled Scavenger Hunt across the event. At least 6 (7?) more are scattered around the event area! Scan them all, come over to the DOORPANELSHOP stand and collect your price!

How it works...

  1. Find a sign with a doorpanel on it

  2. Scan the NFC-tag on the sign with your smartphone

  3. Keep the tab open on your phone during the hunt and read it carefully.

  4. Find all 7 (8?) hints, and come over to the DOORPANELSHOP stand, here at the event to collect your price!

Did you know...

  • The "Hippie Bus." Roughly 1.8 million were made between 1950 and 1967.

  • Famous for that split front windshield and having zero crumple zone between you and the road. 

  • The first T1 prototypes weren't designed by engineers in a lab, but by factory workers at the Wolfsburg plant. They built a flatbed parts-hauler called the Plattenwagen to move heavy components around. Dutch importer Ben Pon saw it, sketched a "box" over the chassis, and the Bus was born.
