VW T2 Baywindow Panelvan Interiorpanel Set
10pc Interior panel set for the classic Volkswagen T2 Baywindow Transporter without windows, also known as the Panelvan. We have sets for the years 1967 up to 1979.
As the panelvans originally did not have any panels in the cargo area, there are no holes for clips provided in the body. The only exception to this are the upper and lower panels for the slidingdoor and sometimes the tailgate. These were installed using these visible chrome clips.
All the panels in the panelvan sets offered here, are installed with screws and washers. If you want the slidingdoor panels and/or the tailgate panel with holes for the chrome clips, please leave a comment when ordering.
Every panel in the set can be left in wood and don't need to be upholstered. All they need is a finish. This can be paint, laquer, oil, wrap, etc as long as you protect both sides. A simple and great way to customize your bus without the need for an upholstery shop! Only the essential holes for the screws, doorpullers and windowwinders are cut, everything else is indicated at the back of the panels (not pre-cut!). Only available in 3mm Birch plywood.
Note that all sets do NOT include the walk-through or bulkhead panels nor kickpanels. please order those seperate. For the panelvan there is also a tailgate window insert available for the windowless tailgates.
It's highly recommended to use decent installation hardware. We offer several options regarding installation hardware;
- No installation hardware. If you already bought it or use your own.
- With installation hardware. This option includes 140pc set of screws & washers and foam isolation bits for the window winder and inner doorhandle. No plastic doorfoils.
